Energy to Cape Verde

The experience gained in the field of design of electrical systems has pushed us to devote part of our working time to the others. Cartina di Cape Verde Cape Verde (Cabo Verde in Portuguese) is an island state of West Africa, located in the Atlantic Ocean west of Senegal. The archipelago is formed by 10 main islands, nine of which inhabited plus other 5 completely uninhabited islets for a total of 4,033 km2 distributed over a mainly mountainous territory. Cape Verde (population 480,000) is located 500 km west of the African coast. Located between the 14th and the 17th parallel, the archipelago is commonly divided into two main areas: the Windward Islands and the Leeward islands. According to some, this distinction is due to the position of islands in relation to the wind, according to others it’s due to the type of pace that sailing boats must keep during the "Windward" navigation (into the wind).
